Detox Retreat in Mexico

I love this

Big news: I’m leading the meditation portion of a wellness retreat in Mexico from January 23rd-27th. As you know from my blog and Instagram, meditation has become a huge part of my life in the last year. Recently I’ve been wanting to do more, “share the gift” of meditation as one might say. So, when my cousin Claudine from Organic Farm Girl asked me to join this retreat in Todos Santos, it felt very serendipitous. We’ll be eating yummy organic and local food, doing Pilates every day, getting massages, taking cooking lessons and maybe best of all, enjoying our own private beach. If you’re looking for a little winter getaway and detox after the holidays, please let me or Claudine know. It’s going to be a small group of just 9 girls, so make sure to sign up soon!

How Much Is That Doggie In The Window?

Flights. Camera. Satisfaction.

Dog, Bruges, Belgium

While touring the quaint canals of Bruges in Belgium I looked up to see a surprising sight. A curious dog, just peering out of the window as if it was completely normal. Nothing to see here! Just inches between its paws and a few metres fall into the water below. It captured my imagination and made me wonder just what it might be thinking. Whatever the case, it certainly had a good view from where it was sitting!

Autumn, Scottish Highlands

A very happy new year to all of my fantastic readers! I hope that 2014 is filled with joyous moments and wonderful memories for each and every one of you. One of my goals at the beginning of 2013 was to start a blog, and thanks to your support throughout the last 6 months I am still going strong without any plans to slow down in the new year. It really does mean a lot to me, so thanks again. I can only hope my photos over the coming year are interesting enough to keep you with me until the end of 2014!

Long-Tail On The Chao Phraya

I love this.

Flights. Camera. Satisfaction.

Longtail, Bangkok, Thailand

The Chao Phraya river runs through the heart of Bangkok and is a hive of activity. The most common sight is probably the famous long-tail boat. They chug up and down the river all day carrying tourists from one spot to another. We took a ride in one around the canals of Bangkok and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The serenity of this scene does no justice to the uncomfortable ride you get with these things! But despite their bumpy nature it was definitely one of the highlights of our two weeks in Thailand.

Have you ever taken a ride in a long-tail boat? Where did you do it? And more importantly, did you enjoy it?! Please get in touch and let me know!
